Tray Cable: For Float Switches, Gen Start, etc This is the standard wire for all outdoor applications. Water and sunlight resistant. UL approved for use without conduit. Also known as type TC (tray cable). Complies with NEC article 340 and is rated as sunlight and moisture resistant. Suitable for direct burial. Minimum order is 25 feet.

2A-1603: 3-wire Tray cable #16 AWG. This cable is used for such things as float switches and sensors in solar water pumping systems and for wiring to remote controls or switches. Commonly used for remote generator start where 3 wires are needed (start, common, stop).
