Will also operate from a solar panel that can supply about 2 amps or more - any panel over 30 watts should run it. Higher wattage panel will give you more early and late day time operation. We recommend a 40 watt panel.

These are relatively light duty pumps, and not really meant to run 24/7. If you do that, they probably won't last more than a few months.
