4-Wire (twisted two-pair) Tray Cable #16 AWG shielded

Two twisted pair (4-wire) cable. 4-conducter #16 AWG 90 degree C tray cable. Suitable for direct burial and outdoor use - sunlight resistant.

Recommended for longer runs to shunts etc for various battery monitors, such as the Trimetric & Xantrex battery monitors. This shielded twisted-pair wire is very resistant to electrical noise when used with 100 and 500 amp shunts. For use indoors and outdoors and for installation in trays, troughs, ducts and direct burial. Designed for telemetering, signals, relays and communication.

May also be used for any general application where a tough sunlight resistant outdoor or direct burial low-amperage cable is needed, such as automotive or outdoor speakers, small lights, generator and pump controls, etc. Rated up to 8 amps, 600 volts. Cable is usually black with black & white twisted pair, but may also be red/white or red/black.

NOTE - ground the bare shield drain wire at ONLY one end - usually at the battery end or the end with the best/nearest earth ground to avoid ground loops.

Minimum order is 10 feet.
