Deka (MK) Absorbed Glass Mat Deep Cycle Solar Batteries

The Deka AGM series of batteries is designed to offer reliable, maintenance-free back-up power for renewable energy applications where frequent deep cycles are required and minimum maintenance is desirable.

These are NOT gelled cells, they are sealed AGM (absorbed glass mat). We have had better luck with AGM batteries than with gelled in hot climates. These are true deep cycle batteries (These and the Concorde Sun Xtender are the ONLY true heavy plate deep cycle AGM batteries that we know of). We do not stock the Deka gel cells but can special order them.

All Deka AGM batteries come with the "L" (bolt on flag terminal) post unless noted. The 4D and 8D only are also available with standard auto posts.

(Note - the Deka are the same as the MK batteries, same company - different name, all made by East Penn Manufacturing just with different labels for different markets).
