Xantrex Link 10 Battery System Monitor

Battery bank monitor, Xantrex Link 10 with 500 amp shunt. For 12 or 24 volt battery systems, up to 100 volt with optional 84-6000-00 pre-scaler

You can display volts, amps, amp-hours, or Time of Operation Remaining. You may select automatic or smart sleep modes and scanning. The Link-10 also measures and reports kilowatt-hours and historical battery information such as: number of cycles, deepest discharge, and average depth of discharge. It automatically learns and displays Charging Efficiency.

Note on wiring: The instructions that come with the Link 10 state that 4-twisted pair (8 conductors) cable is required. This is not true for nearly all installations. For 99% of all installations, only the 2AS-1603POS (3 twisted pair shielded) is required. One terminal is not used, and the shield on the cable serves as the ground wire. Also, one pair is not used unless the optional battery temperature sensor is also installed - and the battery sensor nearly always has it's own wire. The 25 and 50 foot cables are avalaible if you want them, but a tad pricey.
