Mitsubishi solar panels are fairly recent in the US, though they have been sold in Japan and Europe for years. Mitsubishi solar panels are currently the only "Lead Free" PV panels available.

NOTE on Marine/Sailboat use: Mitsubishi does not warranty the panels when used in a "salt air environment" (ie, sailboats). (Sharp & some others also do not).
