Xantrex XW Sine Wave Inverters & Accessories

The new Xantrex XW series inverters and accessories have replaced the SW & SW-Plus sine wave inverters.

All XW Hybrid Inverter/Chargers are true sine wave inverter/chargers that can be used for both residential and commercial applications; stand-alone, grid-backup, and grid-tie with battery energy storage. The Xantrex XW inverters are the most efficient (~95%) that we know of for grid-interactive, where you are selling back excess power from a battery based system.

Capable of being grid-interactive or grid-independent, the XW Series will operate with generators and renewable energy sources to provide full-time or backup power.

Backup Power

Grid-connected homes can also benefit from the use of a Xantrex XW System as the inverter will automatically detect a grid failure and instantly switch to backup power stored in the battery bank. When the grid is active, the XW System will monitor and regulate battery charging to ensure the batteries are ready to supply backup power when the grid fails. XW Backup power systems may be used with or without solar, wind, or standby generators.
