Basic specifications: 29.6 Volts (Vmpp) @ 7.76 Amps (Impp). See specification sheet link for full data. This panel is intended for grid tie systems and is equal to about a 22 volt panel (see note*). It may be used with 12 volt battery charging systems if using an MPPT type charge controller. This panel is compatible with the Enphase M190-72 Micro Inverter. Comes with MC4 cables.
Note for use with batteries*: Intended mainly for grid tie systems, this is rated as approximately a 22 volt panel. The Vmpp is 29.6 volts and should be used with an MPPT type charge controller on 12 volt battery systems for best efficiency. The glass is set deep into the module frame and they are firmly attached to each other by silicone that is applied with continuous precision.This guarantees exceptional rigidity for the entire module and stops any possible loosening of the frame as a result of strong outward forces in cases such as sliding of heavy snow. Tests carried out in accordance
with IEC 61215,applying loads up to 5.4 kN/m2,c onfirm that the module can withstand high loads such as heavy accumulations of snow and ice.
The Sunmodule is certified to the stringent safety and design requirements of UL1703 and IEC 61215. All US Sunmodules are produced in the ISO 9001:2000 certified Camarillo, California facility. SolarWorld offers end of life module recycling for all Sunmodules, further demonstrating their long-term commitment to protecting our environment.
