Used for simple on / off control of devices that require user adjustment of the turn ONn and OFF voltage. Examples are backup generator control, fluid level control, simple charge controller, simple LVD relay control, Battery Vent Controller etc.
4.125" x 2.8" x 2" open frame as shown in picture.
Voltage Controlled Switch is a simple power relay switch which has user adjustable voltage setpoints. Normally the relay is not powered, connecting the common terminal (C) to the normally closed (NC) terminal. The Active Low can be used as a generator start module (GSM).
The Active High unit monitors the incoming voltage and if it goes over the "high" setpoint for 3 seconds, the power relay will switch on, connecting the common terminal (C) to the normally open (NO) terminal.
Once the relay is on, the unit monitors the incoming voltage and if it goes below the "low" voltage setpoint for 3 seconds, the unit will turn off the power relay, connecting the common (C) terminal to the normally closed (NC).
Active Low operation is identical to the Active High listed above BUT the relay operation is opposite.
In Active Low operation, the unit monitors the incoming voltage and if it goes below the "low" setpoint for 3 seconds, the power relay will switch on, connecting the common terminal (C) to the normally open (NO) terminal.
Once the relay is on, the unit monitors the incoming voltage and if it goes above the high voltage setpoint for 3 seconds, the unit will turn off the power relay, connecting the common (C) terminal to the normally closed (NC).
